Drake's family stunning him by being totally unsurprised was a wonderful twist, and so was his mother and sister's wisecrack about him finally being clued in about his uncle. I also liked what was being implied with Lisbeth's followup (that someone else *did* treat her like a dirty little secret) - that was especially well done.

Came across Finding One's Way first, then just happened to see this one a few days later. Dunno how I missed it before, but that happens. I'm really enjoying the one year anniversary party theme. It's really sweet and I can easily see it as a JJ thing to do. Really, that boy... Overall, I really do love where this is going. There is just one small thing that is bothering me in the last chapter (5), though. I can understand the mother and father being so understanding, wanting Drake to be happy, and the siblings at least accepting it. But I don't like how everyone is just happy flowers over the whole thing. I kinda wanted to see some controversy there, even if it was just one of the siblings accepting it, but not being necessarily comfortable with it. Nothing serious, just a distancing or something--something that would eat a little bit at Drake. Maybe I'm just pushing too hard for a bit of angst. I love fluff, but things working out perfectly never happen. S'why I really enjoyed when JJ freaked out in the tub--nothing goes exactly as planned. It's those slight doses of drama that really help develop the characters. With just fluff, there is no character development and the story will fall flat. You had a lot of growing for the characters in your last story, and I would like to see it in this story, if it's possible. You're good at getting the characters into situations that they grow from when they overcome them. Sorry if this turned into a bit of a lecture or something. I've been known to write a lot when I get started. I'm am hoping to see more of this in the future, though, regardless of where you take it (or it takes you). Good luck.

Good to see Drake seeing past JJ's insecurities. Looking forward to more. (P.S. You may want to check the file you uploaded, there's some weird color-coding in it (maybe leftover from your beta draft?))

Very nice. I'm really glad you made a sequal to the first one. Those two are much like my lover and I, my lovers name is DJ lol and he's like JJ. So I enjoy reading it, I hope you'll be able to keep it up. Even if it takes a while I'll still be here to read the next chapter when it comes along!
