my husband's mother shot him through the stomach when he was three. his mother was like the mother in the book/movie 'sybil'. very similar to your depiction of kagome's mother. i don't know how my husband survived until she died (overdosed on her prescribed tranquilizers when he was nine). my husband has been diagnosed as having extreme paranoia with schizoid tendencies, a fractured personality (not quite dissociative identity disorder) and obsessive compulsive. sometimes when one has to live with crazy, one has to become crazy to survive. ♣ i am enjoying your story. i find it well written and it seems as if you're dealing with mental illness and families of the mentally ill in a realistic and sympathetic manner. ♦ thank you, ginny

Yo...I got like 9 emails for this story saying new chapter 0.o Wierd, I know...but I'm pleased with the one! More on Kaggie's life and Yash's social one(brat, much?), and a brief dosage of Miroku and Sango! The story is developing very nicely but vague enough to leave me wanting more. Update soon! :D ~Amber

I've enjoyed many excellent stories on MM, and if this is your first, wow. You sucked me right in! I don't even like AU's. You write good (in the new vernacular where I'd date myself terribly if I said you write well!!)Again, wow.

I'm liking the first chapter! And yeah...I hate when the relationship gets rushed, too. It was interesting to see Yash's point of view in this one and a better glimpse into Kagome's life though. But does Souta exist in this fic? Looking forward to the next chap! Update when you can. ;) ~Amber
