Booyaka! A new chapter! *happy dances* I honestly was afraid this would turn into another "forgotten" story, and I am glad it's not! ^_^ You have such a wonderful start on things that I really look forward to seeing how the story progresses. I am highly enjoying your writing style as well (I'm also ignoring the one-paragraph format in chapter 5 for the moment, figuring it's a site issue since it wasn't there previous chapters). I love seeing Kouga in a fuller light and even Kirara having a part with more impact. I look forward to finding out what sort of crossbreed Kouga is as well as why if hanyou are bad his 'gift' indicates Kagome would be best for him and the tribe. Maybe something to do with her being miko? I look forward to finding out. I'm hoping this is a Kagome/Kouga if only because there's a shortage of really good ones for that pairing out there. I'm confused... what with Kagome calling Ash 'Yasha' all the time though... although I suppose there could be other reasons for THAT too. Almost forgot to mention that I particularly love how you setup Kagome in the present time in relation to what has happened. Love the original canon... but honestly Takahashi-san creates way too many unbelievables and other inconsistencies. And I don't mean on a magic standpoint. Hope we'll see more of Shippou in the future! Thanks so much for writing! |

I really like it so far. I'm very intrigued as to what happened to warrant a reaction from Kagomes' mother like that. Please continue and good luck with your inevitable technical difficulties. ^_^
