LOL! At least Miroku didn't make it far enough that InuYasha felt the need to kill him! This one really did make me laugh out loud!

You actually make a rather excellent point. I don't recall off the top of my head what became of her backpack at all. If it did get left in the past, then that opens the doors for all sorts of cute/sad drabbles of "Inuyasha still waiting" moments. Scenes of the hanyou missing his beloved miko, while secretly cherishing her possessions, the only things he has left of her. Hmmmmmmmm
