I love that Kagome leaves him, usually she ends up forgiving him.
Though I do wish she would have also gotten revenge on Kikyo.

Even though I'm a die-hard Inu/Kag fan and prefer happy endings or reconciliations between the two, I can't deny the power of well written angst. It's funny how little things can tip off the subconscious to things being wrong. In particular, I like the way you use their home as a way to illustrate how thoroughly Kagome has planned her exit from Inuyasha's life - the things missing from the various rooms. It's a small detail, but it adds so much! I just read the first part of your new one shot (I think it's a three parter) and am looking forward to reading more!

this story was fantastic. it was well written and everything even though i'm a fan of the inuXkag couple it was a good story and you could really see the feelings

First I'd just like to comment on how well written this was. It was short sweet and to the point… well maybe not the sweet part. I like that you didn't go into a 3 page long description on how life was before this and what the background info was. The way you wrote it gave you just what you needed while still leaving emotion and felling in the piece. Secondly, I'd like to thank you VERY much for reviewing my story…thing. It's nice to get second opinions from people that are completely unbiased… although that was just my side of the story. I think I'll try to take your advice and if it really doesn't work I'm sure someone else will leave advice or I'll think of something else. Again thank you for your feedback.
