The story so far has set up a really interesting situation. I look forward to seeing how it plays out. You might want to change the status of the story from "complete" to "work in progress" though. I clicked expected a finished story only to run into a cliff hanger. A good cliff hanger but still an unexpected "end" to a "complete" story. Probably for the best since it's past my bedtime and I don't know that I could have stopped reading otherwise. I really like the roles you are giving many of the supporting cast. I'd like to see Sango and Miroku more active but I'm sure their time is coming.

your characterization of ginta is refreshing. he's always been the soft spoken sensitive member of the wolf pack. i think it's perfect to link him to mama h. romantically. i liked the way that you brought the characters into the present. you didn't write down to your readers. you gave us credit for having enough intelligence to be able to figure it out. any confusion was cleared up as i read through the chapter. the twists that this chapter brought into the story give a promise of a much deeper story than it seemed to be at first. i love it.

it is a good thing that yasha is going to make sure that he's always with kagome and never leaving her out of his sight. as soon as her uncle gets his hands on her, he'll kill her. ♠ aww, mama h. and ginta... *still laughing* ♣ i like the depiction of sesshoumaru, he doesn't seem so kind in canon but he does allow an imp, a taijiya zombie boy and a little human girl to travel with him... ♦ one wonders who kenji's father is. i will be assuming that the well house and shrine grounds will be under surveillance so that if and when kagome shows up she will be protected. oh, the suspense!! ♥ captivated ♥ ginny

Oh, wow. You have me in suspense now. Even Kagome's mom is realizing the danger. It's a relief that she has taken Souta out of the direct line of fire. I sure hope Kagome stays away and I'm glad that there are people looking out for her well-being on the modern side of the well. That guy is a real bastard. Ayame and Ginta were a pleasant surprise. I sure hope the family has a lot of support from the youkai community. Your portrayal of Sesshoumaru was very interesting. I liked it. Pretty nifty that he has someone watching over Inu and the gang. I think I may have missed a chapter, so I'm going to go back and read again. I'm very anxious about what might happen in the next chapter.

Oh,man chapter 4 is great, I can't wait till Kagome wakes up and answer Inuyasha's more fully. I want to know how Shiro killed her father and why did she said that he tried to kill her too. The village they found will they explain more about what happen between Kikyo and the village. Again this is a great story, Please update soon.

when one is little and something happens to them it affects their whole life. it could be just the situation or person or the fear could extend to a whole group, gender or even little seemingly insignificant things can trigger a panic. even as recently as the late twentieth century, the molestation of children was not acknowledged or addressed, and in many cases that happens even today. ♣ it looks like yasha has some inkling as to why kagome is acting out, sick and frightened. i agree with yasha, i am all for the 'flay and castrate' method of dealing with pedophiles, or whatever her uncle is guilty of. ♠ it's good he insists on staying with her. what one doesn't understand is how her mother doesn't see it? i have hurt people who i even suspected of touching my children and it didn't matter who they were related to. i know how to cut brake lines (problem solved-- permanently). ♦ well, you have gotten me all worked up. i guess you've done your job well. ♥ captivated and emotional(angry, incredulous) ♥ ginny

Chapter 3 is great. I love the talk between Mama H. and Inuyasha her explaning the history between Kagome and Shiro. Will Kagome explain more to Inuyasha about her uncle? Can't wait till chapter 4.

maybe he will get to the bottom of what's troubling her. it can't be just school, one hopes her uncle isn't trying to abuse her. i had an old cousin who tried when i was like twelve. i avoided him like the plague unless he was with his wife. if he had moved in with my family i wouldn't have been safe and then my father would have killed him. ♣ it's nice to see she's being taken care of. ♦ looking forward to reading more. ~ thank you, ginny

This ia a really good story. Could she be sick because of stress? I remember when was in school I had so much homework...and on top of that I had six tests in every class and I was bullied a lot. I was so stressed out I was sick ALL the time. I hardly hardly ever eat and I couldn't sleep. I was 84 pounds. So I was pretty underweight.
