I loved how you made their entire journey a breif flash in the existence of the afterlife. It makes you realize that your struggles are not as insurmountable as you first thought. It was interesting that both the fathers thought of the wrong child at first. I guess courage can be found in even the most unlikely of places. I always loved the underdogs...there is just something about them that makes you want to stand up and cheer. What a great piece! It always made me sad that both Kagome and Inuyasha's father were never really given much thought in the manga. How wonderful it was to read that they might have been looking down the entire time; that even though the prejudices between the two species, they also found friendship through Inuyasha and Kagome - like so many others had as well. Sorry to ramble, I just enjoyed this story so much! Possible the most of all you've written! Thanks for sharing! It was spectacular!!

It had a sort of fable-like quality to it and the ending brought a smile to my face. I've always wondered if our anscestors could really "look down on us" and this took that and really put it into perspective. Its sweet how the fathers got to watch Inu/Kag grow and live till their happy ending, too. I also liked how they were skeptical at first. It was a very cute, interesting read. Hope to read more from you! ~Amber
