interesting portrayal of 'the mother'. her attitude that she was shown to have in manga as a mask for the hurt and anger at being his 'least loved' wife. although she did follow her husband's directions in sesshoumaru's 'lesson'. ♣ how very fitting a name for such a noble lady. ♥ gin

hmm, trying to figure out when in your stories sessh and rin got together to the point that she was expecting-- i probably skipped it as i don't read any other pairings (i'm just goofy i guess). the sweet family scene- and promises for later. aww. ♥

I love all of your little short-shots, and you know I do, but I just had to post an official review for this one. I thought you captured her personality - what little of it we were privy to in the manga - absolutely perfectly. I love the name you snagged for her, too; very fitting. I was touched by the fact that it apparently never really bothered her, specifically, that the Inu no Taisho had left her for a human, but rather, that he had merely left her for another at all. She doesn't care that Sesshoumaru's chosen one is mortal, or that her grandchildren are all destined to be hanyou. All she cares about is that her son remain loyal to his original chosen, as we catch that tiny glimpse of the pain she masks so well. Beautifully done!

Awww!!! Pitter patter goes my heart! It's so nice to read a non-angsty post-manga Inuyasha piece. (Not that angst is bad--it's just all that I have been reading lately...) Please keep writing. :-)

i missed chapter seventeen!! sorry, don't know how i could have done that. ♠ it was funny how everyone else's damage just got a nod. i figure if he could uproot a big tree and shove it into the well, he could always transplant another tree. he's just not imagining the possibilities. ♦ she did put the stew 'near' the fire on 'slow cook' mode. the meat will be a bit more tender. besides if you watch: youtube.com/watch?v=TSSYKTrD8ho you will notice that japanese usually don't eat anything well done. (actually the whole 'cooking with dog' series is great!) ♥

ah-- the youkai yash who actually speaks in complete intelligent sentences =) . one thing though, i think that the precedent had been made that her reiki won't hurt those who she doesn't want it to hurt [: onemanga.com/Inuyasha/33/10/ ♣ shippo in the shape of a bow, came into direct contact with her charged arrow and was totally unscathed. ♦ lovely story, she wasn't sure although she should have known that he would never hurt her even in his youkai form, even when under megatsuhi's considerable influence he recognized her and his promise to protect her. ♠ i like how the boy had no qualms about going to his father. ♥

I can imagine well-done stew to InuYasha is like burnt shoe leather to us humans...lol! Poor tree! Always brings to mind IY & Kags sitting up there at the end of the anime with her feet wrapped up & head on his shoulder *sigh*
