I'm really enjoying the pacing of this story, and the way it systematically fills in the gaps left by the last chapter of the manga. Probably my favorite part is the way you're developing the relationship between all the characters, but mostly Miroku and Sango, in a realistic way, instead of having everything happen at once. It's good to see the characters start to move on with their lives, even after all of their suffering and losses. You have no idea how happy it makes me that you didn't have Miroku and Sango married and already working on having babies within days of Inuyasha's return or Naraku's defeat (not that I had any doubts that you'd deliver awesomeness in this fic, I just wanted to let you know how appreciated it was). In addition, I was really impressed by your portrayal of Shippo... So many portray him as a clingy, needy baby, when in reality he's anything but: he's proven himself to be a competent kitsune. Yes, he was and is attached to his companions, but that never stopped him from doing what he wanted to do. It was nice to see Inuyasha reassure him without hitting him, and have the Inu-tachi accept his decision. And I'm definitely wondering what Rin's presence in the village will bring in the future for the other characters. I'm looking forward to where you're going to take this story next!

Very interesting! :) The prologue was a lovely little way to open the story, with a sisterly moment between Sango and Kagome. So far, you haven't really told us anything 'new', mostly recapping from the manga, but you've started building a lovely story between Miroku and Sango. The little things are quite touching (a first kiss, preparing his food, suddenly realizing how *real* their commitment to each other will be...). Keep up the nice work!
