You were right this chapter is a bit on the confusing side. It was hard to see the breaks/jumps in scene and who was speaking to who. I think I followed it though. Here is my synopsis: Naruto and Itachi are both having flashbacks of when they were younger and their last meeting during Naruto's 2 years of training with Jairya. Naruto has been sent to help retrieve Gaara from the Akaski, who are currently sucking out Shikaku from his body. While Kakashi and Naruto are trying to find Gaara Itachi confronts Naruto and Kisume attacks team Gai. Is that the gist of it? Please let me know. Although it can be confusing at times I like the story so please continue.

I love it. it's cute, but sad, too. Continue writing it, and i will be the happiest person on earth. Haven't seen a Naruto fic this well written in a while.
