OMG, that was hilarious! I'd been wondering why Inuyasha has black eyebrows when his hair is black, and it's highly unlikely that it was just dyed... :D hmm... do you think sesshoumaru has similar coloring? :D

Even though most of us usually give him silver hair down there (or sometimes even white 'fur') I think, all things considered, that you are probably correct. Unfortunately, it's just another one of those mysteries that we'll never truly know the answer to...since I seriously doubt anyone could get away with asking Rumiko Takahashi, LOL.
