Reading this was like wrapping myself in a warm blanket of nostaglia. And not just because of the intentionally nostagic content, but maybe because this is probably the first fan fiction I've read in years. Anyway, your style is as wonderful as ever and has definately smoothed over the years. Though still colorful, there's an urgency here that doesn't spare words. I was certainly never confused by the action like I was by some of your earlier stuff. The first half is really wonderful. There's a pleasent meloncholey washing over the whole thing. You still write Shinji and Asuka better then anybody else does, possbily including the original series writers as well. As far as the action-packed finale goes, certainly nothing wrong with it, but I think I was hoping this would end in a more quiet way. Either way, nice to see Rei and Touji brought into the action. Anyhoo, no real complaints. (There are a handful of typos) You're really good at this, you know that? You're stuff is consistently good. Never stop writing.
