Really good chapter, even if there's no direct K/I action. I love the plot development and am beginning to doubt she'll actually thank Inuyasha when she finds out about the grant...

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! I am in love with your story and it looks like its about to get REALLY good! Naraku found the jewel, Inuyasha is AWOL, Kanna is being creepy, and Kagome is entirely too clueless! Please please come out with the next chapter soon! I can't wait! :) Fantastic! :)

OMG! She shouldn't have her picture taken while the Shikon is visible. *head desk* She needs to get a clue, and quick! ^_^ Naraku is a bastard. I'm so glad he was kicked off campus. It doesn't mean that Kagome's out of danger. I wonder if her apartment will be broken into while she's gone. *shudders* Thanks for the new chappie. I look forward to the next. ^_^

Oh Kami...wow! Two bad Naraku didn't blab enough for Kagome to put two and two together, so she could at least try to contact someone over at the Youkai headquarters with that land line number Inuyasha gave her way back when. Stupid Jii-chan! How could he give her something that important knowing she has no idea what it is! Argh! But I really love this story, and just like a few other people have said, it almost *hurts* to stop reading it, 'cause I'm just so into it I want to keep reading more and more and more until I read all the way through the entire story. Hurry up and write the rest of it already! LOL. But I know you can't rush genius. Hurry up, to the best of your ability! :-)

I hope that this doesn't sound to weird but after reading today's chapter I couldn't think of anything else to say, hopefully you'll take it for the complement it is. There are just a few people that I read from that sometimes it can seem like torture while I'm reading a chapter, but not because its bad. Its like torture because its SO good. So good that sometimes, like right now, it is almost painful to have to stop reading. And seeing as I am completely addicted to this story, and have been probably from half way into the first chapter, I'll be sitting here waiting for more. No matter how much I whine about cliffhangers, they really are the best.

This chapter was very good. Loved the strain between Kagome and her friend. Loved the way she and Naraku interacted. Loved the way she double checked the prize money. (Can you tell I liked it?)

Just found your story and I absolutely love it! I was wondering when the shikon no tama would appear...I like how Kagome's grandfather referred to her being its keeper again, showing insight and knowledge that he never had in the manga or anime. That was neat. I also like how Kagome and Inuyasha's relationship has progressed without going too far too soon. I'm also liking the whole Youkai Gang scenario and I can't wait for Kagome to find out who and what Inuyasha really is. You have an excellent story and I hope you continue it until it is finished. Good work!

Figures she didn't get the care package until after Inuyasha made the decision to stay away for a little while. Then again, he will still be seeing her, she just won't know it's him. Way to leave out important information, Grandpa! You are tossing in all sorts of information, though, like that quick bit about Kagome having experience with archery. Somehow, I have a feeling that that'll be coming in very handy. Keep up the good work!
