Wow, he's really spoiling her...and marking territory. They sure are moving closer. I don't really like guys that are super possessive but Inuyasha rearranging her furniture was both cute and hilarious! It's nice of him to give her a few presents, but now I'm also wondering if he stole them. I wonder when Sesshoumaru comes into play. You have a way with words; it's nice to find a writer that knows how to articulate: I didn't find one mistake! Looking forward to more! Jian.

Curiouser and curiouser, indeed! Of course, I had forgotten about Inuyasha's need to have his stitches removed, and I love that you've taken the route that he's smitten with Kagome, rather than fearing that she'll be nothing but trouble and wanting to have nothing to do with her. I've seen both personality traits done repeatedly, but that being said, there is nothing repetitive about your purely ingenious new story idea! Even if it is revealed that the preliminary reason he was/is drawn to her is because of some lingering connection to Kikyou, we all know that he will come to appreciate Ka-Go-Me for herself in the long run, and based on our med. student's level of intelligence and growing suspicions, it's only a matter of time before she learns the truth...at least about some things. I can't wait to see where you go from here!

I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. I don't really know what I was expecting, but I'm hooked. The characterizations are well done and you're not rushing things. It all seems plausible and I like this Inuyasha a lot. Good luck with your next chapter!

The summary was interesting so I thought I'd give it a shot. And man I wasn't disappointed. I just love Kagome's instinctual medical reactions! And I thought her reaction to the ears was priceless when she was checking his body for injuries! The writing was exceptional; I hardly saw any mistakes! Plus the scene in her bedroom where she was doing surgery on his arm was awesome! It was so well described I could see it in my head! I liked Inuyasha's, if it's indeed him, reaction to her too! So realistic! I hardly ever find a story this intriguing! You've got a mystery going and it seems like you've done extensive medical research to make Kagome's actions authentic. And am I sensing some foreshadowing in the news? Also I can pretty much sum up Inuyasha moving her back to her bed in one word: sweet! It's SO hard to find stories this intriging and well written. Consider yourself warned, you now have a new fan. I am SO adding this to my favorites. I hope that gives you inspiration and an incentive to write again soon. Jian

All right, a British Tokyo! You don't see that every day, but don't worry, I'm bilingual; I speak both English and English. At any rate, I really love the new angle you're playing with in this story, that youkai are out and about and right under our noses, but modern-day humans have come to believe they are merely wearing gang costumes. I had wondered why Kagome had seemingly failed to notice his lacking of human ears, so thank you for that mention right at the end there. Inuyasha's not going to be very happy when he learns of all of her cat comparisons, but I've often wondered about the way his pupils are drawn, myself. I usually just ignore that little tidbit and chalk it up to artistic license. What anime character doesn't have abnormal eyes? But that's neither here nor there. Looks like we've got a brand new, modern-day AU twist on the original story on our hands. Naraku and his lot after the Sacred Jewel, Inuyasha mistaking Kagome for Kikyou, Kagome's natural compassion for others superseding any would-be prejudice... At least the girl is smart enough to realize that she's already gotten herself way more involved than she should have. I can't wait to see where you take things from here on out. She would certainly never deliberately attempt to find the mystery man again, nor does Inuyasha have any intention of seeking Kagome out, I'm sure, so how will these two end up bumping into each other? And with the way you did the flipping through the news, giving us all those nice little insights and teasers! Well played! A wonderful start to what I'm sure will be a wonderful story.
