Ok, I'm not familiar with the FFgames so I read it as if it was an original story. Well done!
A most excellent story even with the rape scene.
Now again I am a Tenchi Muyo and evnagelion fan so I can see how this story was well thought out and well it would be better if you might want to either crossover it with another storyline ,Movie(The matrix), Anime (Evangelion), or maybe another game series (Doom, Duke Nukem, etc...). Then you can pull out of one a male charater that could compliment your heroine. BTW, nice start to the story.
