I agree with everyone else. This echoes my own personal beliefs on the subject, although portraying the Kagome/Kikyou connection in this light seems to happen so rarely in the fanfic world. I'm very glad you found yourself in a 'weird mood', in order to write this.

This is, by far, the best piece I've ever read dealing with that particular subject. If this is the type of thing you write when you get in a "weird mood" I hope you write in them more often. Excellent job.
