This story is so beautifully sad and sweet... I love the understanding and acceptance you've allowed Kagome to gain when it comes to Kikyou. It's really rare to find a story in which Kagome exhibits actual growth and depth as a character and as a woman (and in her relationship with Inuyasha), but you've done a great job with it in this story, and in a really unique and fitting way, too.

I really like this concept, I'm just not sure if it should be kept a secret from Inuyasha or not. Oh well, I can always just pretend that in a few days, Kagome decides to tell him. I think he's smart enough to understand, and I think he'd have the same level of appreciation for Kikyou that Kagome does. They do share the same soul, after all. Well done!
