Iuvenes.... Where do I start? You're not here, so I can't hold you against the couch and whisper in your ear that I love you - lol - but if you were, I totally would! *Cough* Although I don't know that anyone in real life can pull off the kinds of sublime moments you manage to achieve so eloquently in your stories. In fact, I don't know if this oneshot should really be called PWP because it took me through more emotions than most multi-chapter works I read. I won't get into the specifics here because I already gushed to you over IM, but if your goal for my bday fic was to capture everything I love about Truhan, then I can tell you emphatically that you have done it. And I hope after reading this other people will see what I love so much about them, too :) It is the rare oneshot indeed that can bring a tear to my eye (in fact, I don't think it's happened since LMK and that was an entirely different kind of crying), but I'm not being melodramatic when I say that I got choked up at the end. You have what most yaoi writers aspire to - the ability to evoke real emotion through sex - and I was so wrapped up in the characters' feelings that when Gohan admitted how long he loved Trunks it really undid me entirely. Sometimes I get so into their present-timeline relationship that I forget that undeniable little fact. And this was just the sweetest reminder. So...I know I give undeserved, overly flowery reviews all the time, but I hope that doesn't take away from the conviction of this one because I really mean it when I say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for this fabulous bday fic! In the immortal words of Wayne and Garth, I'm not worthy! xox V
