As Splendent said, I don't think I've ever seen anyone like the 4th movie enough to acknowledge it's existence in a fanfic. But what you did was very interesting. And I have to gush over how THRILLED I am that you had Kaede be the one to take Kikyou down. I have personally adored that idea for the longest time, but never seen it used. Seriously, thank you for doing that. ^^ I'd always thought it a rather beautiful (and poetic) scenario. *heads off to read the sequel*

Wonderfully done! I usually prefer to pretend the fourth movie never happened, heh, but I actually really liked what you did here, taking inspiration from the movie for the basis of this one-shot. And the twist of having Kaede be the one to release Kikyou? I've never seen that done before, either, and I thought it was an excellent idea. Well done!

Ok, so normally I lurk...more than I should! But your one shot has compelled me to review. Loved this take on things. I thought Kaede being the one to lay Kikyo to rest was wonderfully done. And being the ardent Inu-Kag fan that I am, I of course love the happy resolution for their relationship. You used Miroku and Kaede well to help Inuyasha think through things and I think they all stayed in character. Thanks for a great one shot!

that was the sweetest one-shot EVER! Its been a while since I have read an Inuyasha that was more in touch with his feelings and wasnt such a jerk. I really enjoyed it and the Synergy idea was both new and very interesting. Well done!
