Interesting idea. Kagome's lucky she's not seriously injured. We are talking about a guy who can knock over trees, after all, so to lose it on impulse while still pulling his punch enough to only slap her at a normal human level took some talent on his part. Not that it's unrealistic. We've all seen Canon-Inuyasha punch humans without killing them. It's quite possible that he actually has to concentrate to use his greater strength, so that a simple slap like that would've happened at a weaker level automatically. I would encourage you to keep updating this. It is a fairly unique idea and I would like to see it explored further. One tip for it being your first story, the 'type' of story you have selected is song-fic, which I believe is actually the default setting before you change it to something else, and I would recommend you do that, unless of course this really is going to be a song-fic, if you plan on putting lyrics into it. If that is the case then by all means leave it be, but if you are not going to be putting in song-lyrics then leaving it marked as a song-fic is misleading. You might actually get more hits with it marked differently because not everyone is a fan of song-fics, so some people might mistakenly avoid your story.
