She's such a fantastic author and every night I cry myself to sleep thinking that she's not writing anymore. And what comes to clichés, I _am_ truly fond of them. I personally recycle many in my own fanfics (and I'm aware that what I wrote in this parody, also applies to my other fics) But I don't judge clichés when the author showcases that they can also come up with some good original ideas of their own. And if the writer is truly gifted with writing, I'm very forgiving on clichés when they are handled well. Sadly, with rock star vampire stories, the case usually isn't so.

And I was just perfecting the finishing touches of my hanyou/vampire/rock star fic! Oh well...*delete*... But you know, all crazy ranting/crak!fic silliness aside, you did raise a very good point, and I don't mean in making fun of all the cliché AU plots of the world (which was hilarious) but it does kind of seem like a copout to make Kagome immortal, doesn't it? Guilty as charged, though I think it stems half from loathing sad endings and half from wanting to give the readers what they want. However, I know I will have to suck it up and write a serious drama one of these days, if I want to be viewed as a serious writer. Not all of my Kagomes will become immortal; this is my promise as an author.
