That was wonderful! I always wondered what Naraku's wish was, and I always suspected that he just wanted Kikyou to love him. How could she love a burned invalid. He exchanged his soul for body. Then he wanted the jewel in order to force her to love him, or at least, to be with him. That was always my impression. But, I'm not good with the Japanese stuff. ^_^ Love the way you wrote this. It's beautiful.
