Reviewed By:kokoronagomu [MediaMiner Member] On: February 11, 2011 17:11 EST Comment/Review: it's a sad thing really how situations are in a lot of families. my dad acted that way with my mum (including womanizing) although he wasn't violent. he never really cared what my siblings and i did unless we were to help him when he was fixing things or remodeling houses, then we couldn't do anything right or if we did something that would dishonor the family (he was livid when my big sister married a black man, although he softened after their first child was born). i think my mum's cancer was the result of her bad feelings about how my dad was. i guess she was 'dying to get away from him' --literally. i grew up in the sixties and daddy was a son of slavic immigrants --his father and brothers were much worse to their families. ♥
