There is a sense of raw integrity in your words. There are a lot of emotions that you've brought to life: each one melding into another with a very smooth flow. From the melancholy of your character's thoughts comes an interesting perspective of his enviornment and even his life. You've done very well in setting up a definite ambience that some authors can struggle with. I see your story in shades of sepia, like the old photographs that you'd see in your great-grandparents' dusty old albums. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but that was my pervailing thought as I read. Very nice job, Rando! Thank you for letting me read it!
