I am not sure if you intended for it to or not, and I apologize beforehand if it wasn't your intention, but I have to admit that I found this one to be rather amusing in a rather sardonic kind of way. The description, his thoughts, his actions all lent a very serious air to the piece, and yet there was an underlying humor to it, too. Given that I spent the better part of it thinking that your character was a detective or policeman, the end twist was great! Your descriptions were very good with a lovely sense of imagery, both real as well as figuratively, and I greatly enjoyed reading this one, too! |
