Another fabulous update, as always. Hubby and I used to have two bathrooms, but we lost that bonus when we moved three years ago. We swore no way never ever would we ever get a house with only one bathroom, but since this place is designed for two and the one bath is just a *temporary* work-in-progress we decided to bite the bullet. Cut to three years later and we're doing a juggling game similar to what you showed here, LOL, except neither of us lock the door unless we're actually doing 'business'. Otherwise it's a free-for-all which usually equals a tangle of limbs as we try our best to share the single sink and mirror, LOL. So I can totally relate to Inu and Kag in this situation! I'm glad your fan requested this prompt because it was really cute! I love sarcastic-Kagome going she has to dress up as paperwork to get his attention, LOL, and Inuyasha honestly thinking about the idea of her just outright asking to be sexed up before deciding that would actually be really hot, LOL. Wow...I wasn't expecting another update so quickly. Yay! This was an unexpected but also exceedingly sweet scenario. That's so like Rin to be thinking more of Sesshoumaru than herself, and wanting to have a 'mother' not really so much for herself at all as if predicting she'll one day want a woman to talk to but instead because she wants her 'father' to have a life partner so that he's not lonely. Sesshoumaru's reaction tot he news was interesting, to say the least. Yay! I'm so glad to see something new from you for this collection! Don't you just love it when inspiration suddenly strikes like walking through a diamond mine and stumbling upon one doozey of a gem? Which is what this latest chapter was, mind you. ;-) As for the rules of 'mating' for this universe, it's never really bothered me that you never broke that down all technical-like and explained whether or not her lifespan is expanded, or if she has a 'mark' somewhere on her body, or any other mating cliché, but I'm certainly not against it if you decide to finalize the mating rules for your world and let us know what they are. Fluffier than a Fluffer Nutter, and twice as tasty. I'm trying to recall if you've said or not that the 'mating' rules in this universe expand lifespans. If not, then Kagome definitely needed to hear that, though I still think it's cute how embarrassed and defensive Inuyasha gets almost right away after saying something sweet. No matter what universe he lives in, some Inu personality traits always seem to transcend themselves into the realm of AU, and that's a good thing. It's what makes Inu, Inu. Lovely new chapter! Kind of reminds me, in a vague way, of when I was new at my most recent job, going on nine years ago. Nothing about training or rescuing damsels in distress, but I was in the back receiving department helping somebody get down an item from the very tip-top bunker shelf thing, and somehow or another the ladder got moved, but then they went out to take the product to the customer and left me on top stock with no ladder! LOL, I probably would've done the same thing! Jerking out violently with flailing fists is a good natural instinct to have, I think. Besides, he's a hanyou, she could hardly really hurt him unless she put some spiritual power into her punch, and we all know she'd never do that. Yay, another update! When I saw the chapter title I was thinking it was going to start off with Kagome sick in the bathroom or something...guess that one's another few chapters off? Hehehe. This was cute though, and I'm glad that Kouga and Inuyasha were able to get along. I like AUs where they rip on each other harmlessly and when it really boils down to it they're basically friends. Yay, a new updated sooner than expected! This was cute. Fortunately it doesn't get that cold here where we live now, but a couple of years back before we moved hubby and I would have this kind of argument in reverse, LOL. I'm still here, and apology accepted! This was a cute little update. I was really worried for a second there that it was totally going to turn into a serious fight, so I'm glad they calmed each other down and it turned silly and romantic at the end. And congratulations on your nomination on that new site. I haven't checked it out yet but I was actually nominated for something over there too, and won! So they're okay by me! LOL. Awwwww...I really liked this newest chapter. It's clear this Inuyasha and Kagome don't have anywhere near the issues of their Canon counterparts, but no matter how much she knows he loves her, it's certainly nice to hear it from time to time. Hahaha, cute. I'm not really a fan of scary movies, but not because I'm afraid of them. I guess it depends on the flick, but I'm just not that into the new breed of scary movies out there. Most of what passes as a 'scary' movie these days are really just more gross than scary, and I've got no real desire to see a bunch of blood and gore for the sake of blood and gore. Monster movies I'll get into sometimes, because I like the fantasy aspect of a supernatural killer, though I'm really hard to please when it comes to 'monster' movies. Did you see The Grudge? I couldn't stop laughing the entire time, but then again the entire theater was cracking up for that one, meowing into the silence during quiet parts and whatnot. You get me watching an old fashioned scary movie and I'm the one yelling at the screen going "No! Don't go upstairs!" Saw 'Friday the 13th' in 3D at the IMAX this last Halloween for old time's sake...that one's pretty funny, too. It's almost like somebody let a killer loose on the set of a porno, LOL. I keep signing in and MM keeps signing me out, LOL. I loved this post! I was a real rough houser when I was young, and like you, hated scary movies. I went to see one (I don't remember which) with my best male friend. It made me very jumpy as you can guess. He thought it would be funny to do to me just what you wrote. I, ah, broke his arm and his jaw. I don't think he ever really forgave me for it. Getting his clock cleaned by a blue eyed, blonde was just too embarresing.
