I really liked this scene. I like the idea of Kagome having these kinds of talks with her family before the day she actually does go back, so that maybe it wasn't as much of a shocker to everyone that all of a sudden one day, quick decision, she has a now or never moment and leaves them all forever without even saying goodbye to anyone but her mother. We can only assume what really happened and so we certainly don't know that she didn't have her goodbyes with the rest of the family; we only know that she left rather quickly because she didn't pack anything. Not that I blame her. Who wants to risk the well closing back up again? So having these kinds of talks before that big day makes more sense, especially assuming Kagome really could feel it in her heart that one day she would be able to return to Inuyasha. Nice job, truly. :-) |
