No going back now. Does this mean we'll finally get to see regular ol' hanyou Inuyasha? Wonder what his reaction to all the happenings is going to be. I can understand why Sesshoumaru wanted to wait until Inuyasha could be his hanyou self to get to know Kagome, but too late now. He wasn't doing a very good job preventing Inuyasha and Kagome from being together. Perhaps he has ulterior motives and knew it would happen this way all along. If not, then he can berate Inuyasha until he's blue in the face but what's done is done. Super looking forward to the 'morning after' scene - even though it technically already is morning. Update as soon as you can! |

Good update. At first I was confused as to why Sesshoumaru was so against Kagome being near Inuyasha, since it's clear she's actually Inuyasha's destined mate, and I thought that maybe Sesshoumaru didn't consider that possibility because she's a miko and maybe he knows the real story involving Kikyou and just doesn't want a repeat of that. But it makes sense if they're worried how normal-Inu as a hanyou will react to Kagome and so they want to wait until his madness is over so that the two of them can actually meet and get to know each other with him as his normal self. Sesshoumaru is probably not acting concerned regarding the possibility that Kagome could get hurt or killed while she's out there on her own because he can sense her and actually knows that she's just fine. But would Inuyasha as a hanyou really not accept Kagome? That's just silly, if she's his destined mate and all. I mean, I'm not criticizing you, I'm criticizing the characters themselves for thinking so little of him, which means I'm getting into the story if I can be made at a character for saying something stupid that you as the author clearly did on purpose. :-) I will say, though, that the apostrophes in lieu of quotation marks are a tiny bit distracting, although I can distinguish between dialog and thoughts because your thoughts are in italic, so I'm glad for that. All in all I'm really enjoying this so far and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. |

I remember the story I bet is the one that inspired you to write this one, if wild-Inu was naked and pinned to the ground with Kikyou's arrows through his hands. I'm already liking your version much better, if he's just tied up in a hut with magical rope. I'm looking forward to the next chapter and seeing how you handle Kagome being his destined mate and all that fun stuff. Also, I wasn't expecting the Sango and Miroku lemon and honestly thought it was a little out of left field at first, but then the reveal that they already know each other, that was unexpected but also awesome, a fabulous twist. Was the whole thing a plot then, I wonder, if Sango deliberately wanted Kagome to go to the castle? Well probably not if the rumors of this 'crazed youkai' have been floating around for years, but no wonder Sango wanted to go too, then, when Kagome got summoned, if it meant she'd get to see Miroku during the process. A nice little bonus. But Inuyasha and Kagome are definitely the stars of this story and so like I said, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. Good job! :-) |
