Even though I'm partial to Sess/Rin pairings I liked this because one, even you don't have Sesshoumaru outright deny that his feelings for her might change one day, merely emphasizing the fact that right now she is a child and such thoughts had never crossed his mind and are perverted (and I agree), and two (and the most important point, really) is the guy should have damn well made the outfit Sesshoumaru told him to make. You do not 'presume' anything where Sesshoumaru is concerned, LOL. I can totally see this scene happening as 100% canon, completely regardless of whether or not, five-ten years from now, Rin ends up falling for him, and whether or not he falls for her in return. I read this as neutral in that regard, although I appreciate your a/n warning because some people more hardcore Sess/Rin than I might get up in arms. Meh... like I said I liked it.
