A different kind of Halloween story for you! I know you don’t do many AUs, but I liked this one. I’m glad you didn’t have Inuyasha magically come back to life; for awhile I was concerned that he would. The way you wrote it is more realistic, and the ending I think is actually more satisfying. The fact that they can stay together with him still dead speaks to the strength of their feelings. |

Yeah! Thanks for another wickedly fun Halloween romp with Inuyasha and Kagome. Well, after finishing this story, I couldn't help but to think about a sequel. I kept on thinking about Kagome helping the ghost of a man in a coma who needs to move on. Perhaps his spirit has left his body, while the body is on life support and he needs Kagome's 'ghost whisperer' help. Maybe once he moves on and his body starts to quake on the life support machine, Inuyasha's ghost moves into the body and takes over. Waking up... He'll have a foggy memory of both the boy who died and his life as Inuyasha. Then perhaps he can show up after everything has died down (after Kagome thinks that Inuyasha is gone and the boy in a coma doesn't know who she is) and the boy lets her know he's been having these dreams about her every night. The boy blushes... Obviously erotic dreams... Maybe he asks her out on a date and this time Kagome has an alive boyfriend. ;-) Just an idea... I always come up with further plotlines whenever I read a story that 'begs for more.' Love, Ai :-) |
