Reviewed By: Chi Vayne On: September 03, 2003 22:43 CDT Comment/Review: Is this a repost? Doesn't seem to be a new chapter. Anyway, it gives me a chance to request once again -- please don't make this Ranma/Akane. Having re-read the chapter I see that Akane knows about Ryouga's curse. How can she be suited? Both of the other sisters get heartbroken and Ranma ends up with someone who betrayed him to maintain the standard matchup? Say it ain't so! |

A maternalistic Urd, definitely a change in perspective. Sharing memories sure is a quick way to civilize Ranma, nice touch (did he learn any spells?). To join the schools it is really only necessary that Ranma teach his half to a Tendo and that he learn the Tendo school.
Please not another Akane and Ranma match. If she knows of Ryogo's curse and he still sleeps in her room then I think her honour is non-reclaimable. |

However, I tend to agree with some of the other reviewers. Akane/Ranma pairings are way to common in fanfics. I'm not against them. I think if she matured some (as well as Ranma) they could make a great couple. But it's been done to death before. I wouldn't mind seeing an alternate match up. Preferably one out of the blue that no one saw coming. Those can be fun if written believably. I personally believe that Skuld or Bell would be a good bet for a match-up. But you know in the end it's your fic. Go with what feels right with you. This is just an opinion I have. I'm sure I'll continue to read and enjoy this story regardless of the end match-up. |

Please reconsider this paring because there are WAY too many fics with them as a couple.
That doesn't mean that I won't stop reading this story but the coupling needs to be change because from what I've seen in the past chapters she doesn't deserve to be with him. |

The only thing I hope you reconsider is the actual pairing of Ranma and Akane.. I'm not against a Ranma and Akane pairing, but the way you have portrayed the characters so far doesn't fit with that.
Kasumi, the goddesses, Ukyo and even Nabiki have been shown to have some GREAT redeeming features which would interest Ranma even BEFORE they shared memories. Genma realised he was hurting his child, he was just caught up in his dream. Akane on the other hand is even worse than her Anime version. She KNOWS what she's doing. And she thinks it's her right to do that. She doesn't seem to care at all. She's a petty minded little sadist. At least, that's what I'm getting from the story so far.
I can't see a believable way that Ranma could actually choose her after the way she's been acting so far. Sure, I think he could like her as a friend again, but trust and love??? She has not a single bit of either in her..
IF you can actually pull it off in a believable fashion, it'll make a great story. But, considering her actions so far, I can't see it.
I do look forward to new chapters, regardless.. |

I hope you reconsider your note "In the end, it's intended to be a Ranma/Akane". I have no objection in general to that pairing, but the way the story has gone so far seems in total contradiction to that matchup. Both Kasumi and Nabiki are in love with him, treat him better, and are more emotionally compatible. The Ranma in canon is by all means a jerk, but yours is not while your Akane is borderline psychotic. Why not let him get a nice girl and be happy? |

That and also the way the author swiveled Ranma into Belldandy's world. |

It has a very good plot and nice subplots.
The characters are very well put together, and there is a reason given for when they are ooc.
I hope the author posts new chapters soon |
