Oh, wow. I absolutely loved this. I signed in here in my long unused account, just so I could tell you that. I haven't really read Digimon actively for years, but this story makes me want to. You did an amazing job of creating this entire AU and then keeping it real and believable throughout. In particular, I really enjoyed your descriptions of Ken. I really felt like I could see him, like I could almost feel his desperation. Also, your portrayal of Daisuke was greatly appreciated as I'm rather a fan of his, and you portrayed him in a lovely thoughtful manner that I really felt was true to his character. I found your portrayal of the other Digidestined chilling, mostly because I could believe it, no matter how much I didn't want to. You've also drawn the four Holy Beasts very vividly and chillingly. Honestly, this entire story captivated me from beginning to end, and although part me wishes that there was more, the rest of me loves the way that you left it there for imagination and inclination to fill in the blanks. In short, you did an amazing job with this story.

It was a really good story but I think that you should of divided it into chapters. It took me two-in-a-half hours to read it.
 Title: Sequel, please!

OK,I know, it´s probably a bad time to ask you for a sequel, because it´s been a long time you´ve written this. I love your story, but the ending is a little abrupt for my liking. I really want to know what the other Chosen will do. Could you please write a sequel? Please answer me. Moiji ( shinigami@gmx.de )

This is about the most shocking fic i've ever read, re-read and felt sick of. It's gorgeous and dark and insightful, above all very real. It is a Holocaust fic, screaming words you and i know not, yet bringing the pain into sight. It has a saying about soldierhood and trust and the folk above us who play us as pawns. I'm glad that my own tour of duty had me facing moral questions only a few times. i stil wish i could switch my brain off and go on, but my choices still bug me. did i do the right thing and helped someone or did i put my friends and family at risk. of all the characters in the series, i relate to motomiya the most, as he remids me both of myself and my commander, my entire crew even. Here he stands to make a really hard choice. We are the Chosen, and by will of G-d we are to make a choice, it's our right and our duty to choose or not to choose, the choice is ours. -Q&A of Villnius Getho, 1940

An excellently imagined and very well-executed AU fic. I just wante to let you know how much I enjoyed reading it. A shame that there will be no sequel, but all good things must come to an end.

I think, in all my years of fanfic reading, I've left a total of five reviews. Yeah, I know, I suck that way. I wasn't going to leave one for this. I was going to take the whole gorgeous bundle of mismatched emotions it left me with and pass them immediately on to my friends. Then I noticed that you had received only three reviews for this story, on this site (I don't know if you have it posted elsewhere), and I couldn't help but be outraged. Three reviews for THIS? With all the insipid crap that gets tossed around on fanfiction.net garnering dozens of misspelled reviews, this...masterpiece...gets three? Well, how could I pass by with no comment after that revelation? Kinslayer, there are a whole lot of Digimon fics out there. There are literally hundreds to choose from. There are many to make you laugh, cry, blush, or fume. But there are only a few which have the power to cut you to the quick and make you think. This is one of those. Not only have you succeeded in writing FANfiction, the purpose of which is to take characters briefly sketched by someone else and fill them in, breathe true life into them and their world, a process at which many who claim to be adept fail miserably and simply create their own characters, but you have also managed to write a story with a purpose other than simple self-gratification. You have done what the true writer does, created something which will leave her readers changed. As I finished your fic, I had to sit still for a few minutes and just think. I had to adjust to being back home again, and I noticed right away that home looked a little different now. Congratulations, Kinslayer. You have altered the way I see the world a little bit, AND given me a story worth remembering. I hope you continue to write for a long time to come. Oh, and I REALLY hope you enter into professional writing. We need more people like you filling our library shelves. Artists, not just talentless people wanting to make a buck. If you do, be sure to send me your pen name.
My e-mail is: cdbharmon@yahoo.com
If you have a home page or some other place where more of your work is shown, I'd love to get the address for those, too.
Thank you

P.S. Oh yeah, I was really sad when I couldn't get into the link you have to that sketch you thought was appropriate for the story. Is there another way to get there? Or is this link just broken? Drop me a line if you get a moment and feel so inclined.

I love your style for this fanfic. I love most of your fanfic's too. I hope that you will write some more, weather it be a seaquel or not. I love your writing, and am dying to see some more. I enjoyed them very much on Fanfiction.net, only to find them gone. But I'm glad they are elsewhere for me to re-read whenever I feel like it.
I like the way you have a nice sense of realisiticness in your characters attitudes and feelings, none of the annoying 'thinking' or narration that you find in some fics.

*grins* Hey, I've read this before and you KNOW that I love it! I just wish that I could make this review as good as the first but it doesn't work that way. Still, I can say that this is still a beautiful, fascinating fic that makes me sad and furious at the same time. I still can't believe the Holy Beasts could be that cruel! Litte *fudges words*

I think I rated the "run to read" wrong though! It still makes me a little tearful, although not as badly as when I first read it. I look forward to seeing more work of this caliber from you! *laughs* But I know I will! *smiles*
