Hi! I haven't read past the first chapter yet, but so far, so good. I think that it's fantastic that you took the time to research! It's clear that you realize that in Hong Kong, Cantonese, not Mandarin, is spoken. However, "Wu" is the Mandarin word for five, not the Cantonese word. Being a Cantonese speaker myself, I know that the Cantonese word for five is nearly unpronounceable for even Mandarin speakers, whom are also chinese, and certainly not for English speakers. Therefore, you cannot be expected to write with this form. That's ok though because in chinese culture, as far as I was brought up, the eldest children would not call their youngers "fifth brother", instead they would call them by the given name. There is no need to change your story, but I just thought you'd like to know! Hope this helps!
