Well, I'm delighted to find some Zoids yaoi! Well, that's not entirely correct- I'm delighted to find some well-written Zoids yaoi. And from a Raven fan at that.
I really liked how Van forgave Raven in place of his father. I haven't seen the entirity of Chaotic Century, (stupid Australia is SO behind the rest of the world in anime) so I'm not sure if Raven going to that grave was in reference to the show. But I still found it quite touching, and a great way to start your fic.
I'm hoping you'll tell us all what Irvine and Van were talking about. As a rabid Irvine/Van fan who hasn't been able to find any fiction with that pair, I cling helplessly to any interaction between them. ^_^ Besides, I think it will be an interesting read.
Ah well, I had more to say, but I just finished work and my brain/memory are fried. I probably won't think to look this up again (again, the memory) but I have enjoyed this first chapter. Keep writing! |
