Not what I was expecting at all D. Kasumi, sure. One of the fiance brigade, possibly. Nabiki? While viable, It takes a bit of a stretch of the imagination. Fortunately my imagination has long since been warped beyond any recognizeable form. All in all it was a very enjoyable fic. I doubt there are many people that actually think about what would happen if Akane wasn't the one. I will see more of your work.
