I realy like your story. It's super long too. It's worth waiting a month for a chapter. I think yours is the longest fic I ever read and it's not even done yet. Your caracters r diffrent from the original ones but still has there main points. I'm a kenshin sano fan so it's even better. Poor aoshi does he hae to be that into drugs? I was really into it a few months ago and it took me four days to finish reading up to ch. 8. I was short on time but I was determined to finish it. Well, my life is slowly going back to normal. And FINALLy I'm giving your wonderful work a comment. I am still amazed at why it do not receive the right amount of reviews it deserves. It's a mature work, well thought and devised, mirroring the original spirit of RK perfectly. It's totally reallistic and believable, balanced in all its elements and characters. I love the background, the fine work you put in making your Universe, drawing it in a remarkably vivid and pecise detail. Works like yours are like water in the desert for a thirsty wanderer. I sincerely hope that you, like Fujifunmum, Wombat, Kamorgana or Mara continue honoring the world of fanfiction with more your wonderful pieces. You make every minute of reading worth of being spent! I'll look eagerly for more of this wonderful piece soon. (hehehe and any future fics).

First of all, you TRULY deserves the rating, I'm NOT flattering you.
Well, while the characters are different, they can be still recognized, even without authors notes. Obviously, they are a ‘free’ and I mean free version of the original ones, but the story is so wonderful, and compelling that in this occasion I don’t really care.
I do not usually read Yaoi fic (except for Shifting the Balance, which I also enjoy very much), but this is a genuine rare pearl, and I don’t mean a rare yaoi pearl, but a real fanfiction pearl, including all genres and styles. I do not read yaoi, because there are very few examples of good Yaoi fics, or at least I haven’t found them. But do not worry, I also avoid other genres, mostly waff, though there are really good waff fics also… It just that there are few writres who can do it right. Yours is one of those rare and priceless exceptions.
It’s one of the most refreshing and best written fics I’ve been reading in a while, and made me feel ashamed of my poor skills. It’s extremely well written, maturely written, nothing like the silly, childish stuff that is being posted lately which makes me feel sick. I started it with the idea of reading it slowly, chapter by chapter, but I ended like a blabbering idiot in front of a friend who renounced to try to talk to me and looked in astonishment at my mouth hanging wide open for several hours. I couldn’t stop reading. I simply couldn’t. It’s admirably well written, with a style that makes you stay there, with the characters, the research and details are perfect. It’s really a PLEASURE to find this refreshing gust of creative wind when most of the present fics out there are totally depressing for the lack of quality. The plot is wonderfully intricate, and I’m dying to know who these mysterious people coming from Germany are… Your grammar is perfect, I almost haven’t spotted any mistake. I feel so ashamed… |
