This is a story of contradictions as far as reviewing it goes. It's an interesting idea to re-imagine the start of the television series but this version of it lacks the kinetic energy of the TV series' early episodes. The characterisation and prose style are better than those in some fics but worse than others. I think that the style is just too straightforward to catch the eye. However the opening paragraphs about the birth of Ash (at least I think its Ash) are fascinating and professionally written. Everything in the very early part of this fic is so different and so well done that it is hard to believe they in the same fan fic let alone from the same author. Not bad but gets worse as it goes along.

Very good 3rd chapter I like it a lot. You didn't have a lot of spelling mistakes in the 3rd chapter. Team Rocket is actually more violent! Finally! Keep Writing! |
