Enjoyable fic. One of the few good Slayer fics. Only problem I really had with it is you made Gourry too Dumb. (Though I had just finished reading the first two novels and Gourry is smarter in the novels than the anime so it might just be me)

Very enjoyable. I really thought this was a very well done 'fic.
In a way I wish you would eventually fill in all that happened between the climax and the epilogue. But even so, I realy enjoyed that. |

Nice to finally see the conclusion. Pretty good overall.
However it's a bit of a jaring transition between chapters 13 and 14. You go from the end of the climactic battle and the immediate aftermath straight into the epilogue. The lack of winding down afterward the climax really make the change in pace stand out.
Also while the solution to the Towermere problem was good, it was done too quickly. For someone that's been following along and causing problems the entire time, including supporting what amounted to the main enemy, to be written out in just a few lines with virutally none of it interaction between him and the main characters just seems wrong.
Other than that, great story, good ending. |
