I must admit, I was taken by surprise when I started reading this. From your description, it was hard to tell whether Rei was the "love" you're talking about, or simply the support alongside Usagi as she falls in love with another character. I thought the latter of the two. (I know, I'm oblivious!) But you might want to just clarify that up by adding a note that the story is shoujo-ai, for us oblivious people who don't read into things.
The story itself was... well, sad. I know.. it's angst; it's supposed to be sad. But this was SO depressing, I guess you can say you really did capture the mood.
Your writing is very good, but I was left confused as to why some of the senshi were dying off and others weren't. Did they simply give up the will to live or did they somehow fall ill? I also thought several of the characters were acting outside their personalities, but then, that is your entitlement as a writer I suppose.
