Oh, my Goddess! (IT'S MEGAMI-SAMA!!) Ouch, that's what I get for reading Megane 6.7's MSTings. While I can't claim to have watched the series (or the movie), I've read fanfics that have involved the standard cast (Joel OR Mike and the Bots), cast variations, and non-standard casts, and absolutely loved them. Plus, the idea of riffing bad movies/fanfics was very original too. I read this MSTing, and it was great. Just a bit ago, I found the original fic (I wanted to see why it was censored, and I was brave at the time), and I now agree with you 100%. (It should still be rated NC-17, thankfully.) Favorite Lines: From the MST: "BRIAN (Singing): This is a public service announcement. This is only a test. Emergency evacuation protest. May impair your ability to operate machinery. Can't quite tell just what it means to me. Keep out of reach of children. Don't talk to strangers. Get your philosophy from a bumper sticker. Warning: Live without warning. Warning: Live without warning. " Why? It's from Green Day's "Warning". That one was really cool. From the Original Fic. "By your command." said the large tree, walking away and smiling evilly. Line MST: You sure Cherrymon's not a Cylon replicant, Puppetmon? Why? When I saw that line, I thought Cylons from the cult 70's series "Battlestar Galactica". The replicant comment comes from "Earth: Final Conflict". If ya don't get the jokes, that's OK. Loved it and I hope to see more MSTings.
