Once agian you have amazed me. I Love Sonic/Amy fics that Sally Acron can go die in a ditch, Amy and Sonic all the way!!! I wish people would do more of those pairings then yaoi ones with Sonic/ some boy....YUCK!!!!!!!!

At first, it put too much emphasis on the heat. Yeah, it was hot, yeah, it was muggy, yeah, she might not have had any air conditioning... but someplace, somewhere would have.
That was about the only thing I didn't like.
The rest was great. I can't tell you whether Amy was incharacter or not, as I don't have any experience with her (i.e. I've only seen her on the sega CD game when she runs up and hugs Sonic, then is kidnapped by metal sonic), but she didn't seeem too bad.
On Sonic: I loved the way you captured his boyish teasing and his more serious, darker side, flinging them together. Sonic can be pointed, when he isn't acting like a total idiot.
And the ending... that was genius. You avoided the whole cliche where Sonic suddenly finds himself hopelessly in love, etc, and they kiss, or he stays over... but you did have him deliver that peck on the cheek, as an apology... So it'd be okay to soak her with muddy water.
