Wow, that was fantastic. Definitely one of the best fics for this fandom I've read in a long time. I love your style and how you tied everything in to game canon, yet still made it extremely original and its own unique story. It was super easy to get into the moments, as well, and it would be difficult to find a more three-dimensional Sephiroth than yours. :) Awesome work!! ♥

This was a very interesting twist with the lives each has lived and how we got to the bad part of the game. I like the ending too. This was really enjoyable and a keeper. Though I'll admit you were throwing me for a loop using katana instead of kata. oh well. Thank you

Okay...I like the story so far, but a few things have been...getting to me. (and I'm only on the prologue). I know I sound like a beta reader or something, but....yeah. 1. "Katana" is a sword, not a martial practice form. I believe the word you were looking for is "kata". 2. "out of the option" should be "out of the question" or "not an option". the usage you have doesn't make sense. 3. "shirked his responsibilities on" sounds better as "left his responsibilities to". ~*~ There were a few more things I wanted to mention, but I got annoyed with writing them down. Sorry if you don't like the constructive criticism.

Wow. And it's not like me to give high marks, just because I'm a very critical person. But this garnered my praise, hon. Not that I'm the fanfic expert, mind, but with my ...non-exsistant life and constant searching for fics. Anyway. The only thing I noticed off were a couple grammatical errors, but those can be fixed. I read this after finding "A Welcome Burden", and I'm very happy to find that it wasn't a hat trick. You're a very capable and talented writer, and I look forward to reading any further fanfics you post here-- my best wishes, may you recieve nothing but compliments.

It was very original. Most of the stories I've read tell about Step and Cloud after they go to Nibelhiem. They never tell about how they first met and their reactions to each other.
