that was a sad fic but it was so well writin aand so well composded I really didn't mind at all. this is a great fic loved it. |

Excellent fic. Has anyone ever told you that you are an awesome writer? Well you are! I do not particularly like to read depressing fics because they effect me so much--towards the end of part three I was crying and the end of part four has me feeling so sad. However, this fic, despite the abject angst is really wonderful. I would like to see Vegeta and Trunks come to terms with each other in a less depressing way, but I wonder if that defeats the vein of this genre? If you ever decide to make a sequel, definitely keep that in mind, please?
I'm still reeling over the sadness. :( Excellent fic, though.

I agree; it really was/is sad, but in that so-sad-you-want-to-read-more way that epitomizes good fanfic angst. I found it especially refreshing to find a sympathetic, likable rendition of Yamcha. Regarding Trunks, part of me hopes you give him some light at the end of this tunnel, but that's your business as the writer. :)
I really look forward to seeing more of this series in the future! |
