Oh, my GOD! This is one of the BEST RW fic's I've read in a long time!! It was wonderful! I LOVE Roy/Sage and this was just drool worthy. You wrote what I belive to be Sage and Ryo's relationship towards each other. And I just loved it. *fans herself*
I noticed on your web site that you had PL Nunn's art. Did she do those for you by request or did she read your stories and liked them so much that she made them for you? I adore Nunn's work soo much.

I found this fic to be both enjoyable and easy to follow. Great plot that drew me in, great ending that made the fic worth reading!!!! BTW I *heart* sagexryo. Keep up the good work! |

Thank you for not making Sage a bastard in this fic! You dealt with the issues of what happened to Ryo in a sensual yet safe way. It is nice to see someone who acknowledges that rough sex is good when with a trusted person. The fact that the one partner allows the other to have that control of pain over them is because of their complete assurance in their partner, a fact which is usually overlooked. This fic was a tasteful and satisfying version of the give/take relationship between Ryo and Sage. It was realistic instead of the overdone, oversexed versions of Sage/Ryo so often written (mostly by teenagers who don't have the best grip on the reality of what happens in the bedroom between consenting adults. I would love to read more of your writing. |

The general story line was pretty good. I guess my only problem has to be this characterization I see so often of Seiji/Sage being this cold hearted abusive bastard. It really bothers me sometimes. Now this isn't meant as a flame or a put down so please don't see it as such. We all have out own likes and dislikes.
You did a fine job with description and the emotions/ feelings... I say keep on writing and be true to yourself. Very nicely done even if it was hard for me to see Sage in that light. |
