Wow. I saw the description and was a little loath to continue, because a lot of people that try to pair FruBa characters wander unbelievably from their characters and it winds up merely being a drama that's unrelated completely to the original cast, except that the drama characters have the same names as the cast characters. But this has the double virtue of being both true to character- true to everyone's character- and being a completely original idea. The "I don't think that was an accident" was an impeccable line, as was "Wedgies make people do strange things." My favorite chapter, though, has to be Day 6. Yuki's normally so collected, and seeing him completely flip out from stress was classic. The only thing you didn't do to maximum effect was incorporate Yuki's fan club- with such a tragic "disease," surely they would have tried a little harder? And what about Akito? Wouldn't Akito have stepped in to insist something or another to either save the life of his favorite Jyuunishi member or insist that the threat Tooru Honda not be involved?... c'mon, there's potential there. All in all, bravo.

Excellently done fic. You really nailed the personaility's of the FB cast. Very enjoyable in every way.

This fic totally cracked me up, I love the banter between Shigure and Ayame and the crackling tension between Kyou and Yuki! I also love the bit about hotwiring the car - Haru is too funny. Thank you!

I don't remember if I reviewed this fic on ff.net or not, but I just had to say, this fic is hilarious. I almost died laughing when Yuki hotwired Hatori's car. Poor Kyo... I loved the line "He's even a better delinquent than you." *laughs* Happy writing. |
