I really enjoyed this story. You did a really great job with providing different POV and I'm happy to see a little Relina bashing. I'm happy Hiro go his man in the end (pun intended) ^_^

Wonderful. I loved this fic -- very rarely do you see Heero pursuing Duo, and it's even rarer to see such a sweet, well-written and humorous story. Basing it on Harlequin romance novels made for an extremely entertaining plot.
Characterization was exceptionally good. I liked the conspiring that went on under Relena's nose...Zechs's escape from Relena was amusing, along with Duo's antics in rescuing Heero from The Pink Menace. I also enjoyed the prominent role of Dorothy in this fic.
Excellent writing style -- I liked how in some particular scenes you described the action from some specific characters' points of view. Your spelling and grammar were excellent as well. I just love writers who can spell.
Overall, this was a very creative, enjoyable fic. Good job, Calic0cat. ^^; |

Some of the words are missing letters, but otherwise this fic is fine. Several bits made me laugh, earning me funny looks, and the whole thing flowed really well. ///_^ |

Yes, ^^;; I *did* give you all "10"'s for a reason! Your writing style was very nice, and often flowed very nicely! I also enjoyed the fact that your grammar and spelling were very good (some fics are just plain BAD).
On a character note, I love the creative way you portrayed Heero. There are a lot of fics with one or the other being the chaser, but I think you gave Heero a lot more credit for having feelings and actually being THE one to drop the hints! So I thought that made your fic extra special and definately worthy of a review!
The only thing I missed was more 3x4, but that's just because I'm biased and love 3x4 more than anything... so... woops. ^^;;
This is becomming a long review (It's a *pose* mini-fanfic! Lol... The Mini-Fanfic of Review-ish-ess)...
Thank you very much for writing such a good fic that left me with the "warm and fuzzy" feeling! ^_^ And I also respect you for having so many chapters and having them actually DONE!

Beautiful. ::snif:: Just beautiful. I always felt Heero would be the one to initiate the move towards being a couple. Duo has had just too much bad luck w/ those he loves. I can so see him deluding himself about Heero. There seemed to be a hint of 5xD going on. Is there going to be a sequel? or maybe a prequel about how 3x4 got together? You are a really good writer! |

You have far to few reviews for this!
I had some time off today, so I decided to read some of you works and this is a very good start.
I love the plot, it's great. The Relena bashing is perfect, not to much and not to little. (I like some good Relena bashing from time to time, though I also have no objection to a Relena friendly fic).
The characterisation is also top quality. You have a fantastic way with words.

I don't know what uxolo was thinking, but your spelling and grammar was absolutely superb. The only thing that annoyed me about it was Duo constantly shortening his words (workin', doin', etc). Very good fic. :) |
