Personally, I thought this fanfic was great, and it was extremely sweet. I'm also a Shinji/Asuka fan!!! You deserve more good feedback *pouts.* You really should continue, and I like your work a lot. It's really good, and please don't stop due to what some say, because there's always someone out there that likes your work, and for you, it's ME!!!!!! So please, please continue. I like this fic a lot and I think you're a terrific author.
Also, for the stealing ideas thing, if you haven't ever read a fic like your own and you just write it, you can't be accused of stealing the idea. I mean, if the author wants credit, say you didn't know, and if they still insist, apologize on your fic and give a little credit. Besides, there are what, like millions of fics out in the world and published books as well, and there's bound to be a story out there that is slightly similar. I know that there are a ton of similar stories out there, some better than others. Some authors can take a story line and turn it into something truly great. And if you want to make your fic even better, write it, wait a few days, and reread it. This is a piece of advice I got from one of my reviewers on ff.net and I think it is truly great, and I have to give thanks to somebody that really tipped me off. After you reread, revise. It really helps. Best of luck!
