Wow... So THIS is what they mean about a "diamond in the rough" ... My heart... HURT reading this. I don't know-maybe it's the hyper-realism and the IC-ness, or how it just seems to be a bitter testimony to mankind. Probably both, actually. You wrote each character's trial-and-error coping mechanisms superbly. The dynamics are brutally well-depicted. Everyone's conflicting feelings and mentalities, be it within themselves or within the scope of their social world, are extremely well-accounted for. Sanzo struggling blindly between his deep-rooted, pain-forged core beliefs and his stark reality (all while lashing out against the very new, frightening concept of being taken care of ) is, for lack of a better word, heartbreaking. Goku's insight into the situation-his innocence and paradoxical wisdom-is cutting. Hakkai's self-repression-forcing his own compliance in the midst of his immense jealousy-is striking. And lastly, Gojyo, trying to keep his (jaded) integrity, despite the utterly painful consequences of being honest with Sanzo's feelings and needs as well as his own in the face of such a disturbance... It speaks loudly. I don't feel like I can quite articulate this in a way that I'd feel would pay full homage. But thank you, thank you, for writing something so powerful.

Wow. I honestly think that this is now the best Saiyuki fic I've read. :) I have to admit, I wasn't sure about it after the first chapter (Sanzo seeming perhaps a little *too* bastardly, even for him :P) but it really proved me wrong. Wonderfully written, you really have a way with words. :D I thought Gojyo's character was spot-on; reacting with so much heart but at the same time being rather oblivious. Eeeh, the awesomeness of well-written 5x3 makes me so happy. :D I read this fic through almost without a break - that's how addictive it was! All the little details were wonderful; I really enjoyed reading the chapters from the different POVs of the characters. (Goku's food obsessed view was adorable). -Sanzo... ah, Sanzo. I love how you never let him get to mushy; the tiny displays of affection towards the end were just perfect. :D -Gojyo was just perfect; i thought you got his character down best out of them all. -Hakkai...ooh, he's tough to write, but you definitely did him justice. :) -Goku; again, verging on perfect! His cute naivety and loyalty to Sanzo was just right. I wasn't entirely sure how Gojyo and Hakkai managed to let Sanzo come between their friendship like that... but I guess a jealous rage will do a lot, huh. ;) In conclusion: amazingly well written; I love your style, wonderfully characterised - and almost best of all, very long - with lots of angst and smut! :D *loves upon* :D

I have reread this... at least 10 times. I'm on my 11th. This is one of the best written Saiyuki fics out there. And it's got my favorite pairing to boot! I hope you continue in this universe. Awesome awesome job.

I was so sad to see the story end. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed reading it! Definitely one of my favorites. And I have to mention this, which had been on my mind since the chapter you'd written it in. Sanzo with Gojyo's cum all over his face... that is some image. Insanely erotic. I can't get it out of my perverted head. XD Thanks so much for writing this awesome story. Bless you, if you write a sequel soon!

Or maybe a new story? *pleeease* The way the characters are acting/reacting, the description of their feelings and the well developed plot - it is amazing! You MUST keep on writing! Definitely!

I havent been this absorbed in a read since HarryPotter! I couldn't sleep until I finished this. I cant believe how amazingly, beauitufly and PERFECTLY you kept EVERYONE in character! They seemed even more developed than in the manga. I dont know how you did it, but each character somehow became so much deeper and more mysterious in your story... I noticed MAYBE ten spelling and grammer mistakes in the entire thing, which is saying something considering how many words you have here. The style of writing improves 200% over the course of the story, until the final chapter is well crafted enough for a published work. And the plot! When I read the first few chapters I was apprehenisve, because most of the rape stories Ive read are about mindless sex, but you tied in this amazing psycological battle, so well crafted between the four characters. And even your madeup characters were perfect! I love how you can tie in juicy smut without letting it take control of your story, while the plot never misses a beat or grows stale for a second. My only complaint is that I wanted to see a bit more Gojyo/Hakkai tension... you kinda gave hints that they had a sexual history, and I was dying for Hakkai to get jealous over Gojyo. I like that Hakkai has a thing for Sanzo, But I can't say how much I wanted him to have some embarassing confession when the standoff happens b/n Goj and him, I had the whole thing played out in my mind. Its so hard to find a decent Gojyo/Sanzo fic... keep it up!!

I wish I'd been able to review far more often. I never did, at least I don't think. I did try on a few chapters, but my computer was acting up and wouldn't bring up the screen. All I must say is thank you so much for a wonderful fic of Gojyo and Sanzo, these things are as rare as mummified ducks dipped in chocolate and glazed in caramel. I'm more than happy having read this, and do hope that you write more fanfics, even if not on this particular one! I think this was a beautiful ending, even if you never continue. I might just go crazy and got back to each and every one of your past chapters and leave what I thought on them there!

I can't believe this is the end! I hadn't been expecting it at all! *choke* But damn, I love Gojyo's "how-to-lay-Sanzo" ideas. ^.^ Delicious. And Sanzo's soft moment of admission to his fear really made my heart ache. I loved the ending. Who would have guessed these two would leave me feeling so warm and fuzzed. ^^ I'm so glad to hear there will be a sequel. And I can't help but imagine the wicked things Gojyo can do to Sanzo now that he's acquired those bottles of "medication". Clever, clever kappa. I enjoyed this entire story so much! It may be my favorite Saiyuki story ever. Never wanted it to end, so I'm really looking forward to the next. Thank you so much for writing! I adore you...

No, not the end! I loved this story even more than you're WK fics (and that's saying a lot!) Please continue with this fandom - there just aren't a lot of good Sanzo-as-uke writers out there. You have the great smut and a plot! How cool is that? I'll be watching for your next fic!

i think u can see from the rating that im just a little happy with your fic...but now i'm so sad it's over...will u be a good girl and write a 'sequel'?! Btw, sequel or not, i so loved your fic, it's the one i liked the most among all the fics i've read! Your characterization is the best, and u managed to give hakkai an interesting and insightful one! I think u're the only one that managed to do that. I'd just love to read more cause there's so much to say if u would like to continue...about hakkai in the first place. the end was so unfair to him ...oh my i'm starting to like hakkai..what did u do to me!!? Wonderful work, and every chapter u write u improve. im already waiting for your next upload :)

*contented sigh* No, wait! I want more! You definitely must do a follow up to this story...pretty please, with sugar and bishies on top? Especially now that Gojyo has mananged to break through Sanzo's protective wall. There are so many angst possibilities here...angst that leads to nice, cozy making up...but I digress. The was an outstanding story, just like everything you write. I am in awe over your talent and I look forward to more. Now, get going with Weiss. *sits patiently at computer waiting*

Oh this just gets better and better! But what about the ghosts? The suspense is killing me! Will Sanzo exorcise them already? Oooo will he get 'possessed' again? Poor Hakkai. I forget if the others know about Kanan or not. Do they? PS: Lovely smut, as usual.

LOL. The way Sanzo asked for sex in the beginning is still tickling my funny bone. He'll never come out and ask for anything will he? I loved the scene when Sanzo got so jealous he gave Gojyo oral sex out of spite. That was too rich! Your newest installment was such a humorous drama, not that the story as a whole isn't. Though Sanzo getting indignant over Goku trying to make him eat, then Sanzo try to talk to Goku, THEN having Goku verbally beat him into submission was truly priceless! After this one does wonder if Goku doesn't have more upstairs then he lets on. I had very few gripes with this chapter... other then Hakkai acting like a weeping woman. Ahhh I said it! I know you mentioned your trouble with Hakkai, understandable. Though I have to admit, I am laughing about attacking your Hakkai again. I'm not doing to be vicious or mean I assure you. The fight between Gojyo and Hakkai was under written and short that it was slightly disappointing since I was looking forward to it. On a ending note I am a little harsher on you then most because of your obvious talents, feel complimented not insulted.
