I'm not sure what to make of this story, on some levels it's pretty good. On others is a little hard to swallow. Ch 8 is the hardest of all, it almost seems that when it was written that most everything from the previous chapters was thrown out in favor of the new history that it presented. Then to have that stuff with Genma telling Usagi all those lies and have her beleave it even seven years later, this I can not beleave. The stuff with Rei was pretty good and funny.
The parts I had the biggest problem with were the parents reactions. They go through all that trouble, 7 chapters of informing everyone of the situation and getting that meeting set up. Then in chapter 8 you almost seem to completely forget what has happened.

Over all, I think you should relable ch 8 as a side story and continue on with a new chapter 8 that fits with the story so far. I do like what has been written up to that point, but ch 8 just doesn't fit where it is.

You really could have left out the Ranma parts and just made this a Sailor Moon fic. Unless the Ranma cast are going to be invovled a lot more later then this really shouldn't qualify as a crossover. |
