ONE SHOT?! *breaks down crying* Why...How could you be so cruel as to leave us devoted readers with a cliffhanger? What happens?? I must know!!!! But anyway... I loved it. It was one of the few stories that I could really get caught up in reading! Yay for you! Have you ever read any of Tamora Pierce's books? (if you have, that's why I put an 8 for originality. I could kind of see a bit of Tamora Pierce in there. If you haven't, then I commend you!!!)

Though I think that the NC-17 tag is a tad harsh. | Reviewed By: e-type On: February 26, 2003 01:08 CST Rating(s):Style of Writing: 9 of 10 Spelling & Grammar: 9 of 10 Originality/Creativity: 9 of 10 Enjoyment Factor: 8 of 10 Overall Rating: 9 of 10 Comment/Review: While the story was well presented, and flowed easily, and the charactors were believable, I found myself feeling empty at the end. The story needs a conclusion. I feel it needs to show what Torin did with his three servants. What, if any, were his plans regarding the hero's? Was he to return them to the land and try to right some of what had been wronged? Or was Torin corrupted by his power, merely wishing to have the women that he had fixated on in his youth for various reasons service him in every way? I would like to think he had more in mind than sex slaves, as it would mean I had spent my time reading something worthwhile and upbuilding, instead of merely more proof that the phrase 'power corrupts' is truth. Given their past actions, having them reduced to a loving, though subservient role is a form of justice. But to ignore all those souls clamoring for revenge, to not do anything but ignore them and show how much pleasure the Silver Maiden can bring Torin is shallow. If he is to have them all there, if he is to use them to help change Elaine's mind to voluntarily become his slave, I hope that he would send them back to the real world, not to simply bring back more potential lovers, but to right the wrongs and bring those corrupted down. But it brings me right back to the question of Torin's own corruption. If this is continued at all, I hope to see Torin accomplish, or at least strive to achieve a more far reaching goal than fill his harem with old hero's made young again.
Having said all that, I wish to compliment you on the creation of a universe I found believable. Dark, yet believable, and what could be the basis for many more adventures, be they Elaine and her fellow maids or no.

Was expecting a little bit more from the NC-17 tag, but nothing wrong with what was there. Its nice to see that you're still writing and trying to branch out into other areas. Overall, its still the same high quality that one comes to expect from a story with Metroanime as the author. |
